El Toro : Inmate Found Dead at Musick Honor Farm

An unidentified man at the James A. Musick Honor Farm in El Toro on Sunday became the second inmate fatality in Orange County in two days.
Sheriff’s Lt. Larry Richey said the Orange County district attorney’s office was investigating the death of a man whose body was found in one of the restrooms of a housing unit at the Musick Honor Farm.
The body was discovered at 12:55 p.m. and a preliminary investigation revealed “no evidence of foul play,” Richey said.
Mark Robert Ernst, 34, described as a transient, hanged himself in the central men’s jail Saturday, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
