Moorpark 40, Bishop Diego 0--Fullback Lloyd Thomas rushed for 147 yards in 17 carries to lead Moorpark to the Tri-Valley League victory at Moorpark.
Thomas ran for an 89-yard touchdown on his first carry, starting the landslide. He added a third-quarter touchdown run of two yards.
Moorpark quarterback Rob Hernandez passed for 146 yards, completing 12 of 15 passes, and tailback Chuck Silverest scored on touchdown runs of 12 and 5 yards. Moorpark is 2-7 overall, 2-3 in league play.
