Sexual assaults involving four females have occurred in Southeast San Diego over the last few months, police spokesman Bill Robinson said.
Two attempted rapes and two reported rapes have occurred involving victims ranging in age from 14 to 27. The incidents took place in a canyon area west of the 1000 block of North Euclid Avenue and north of the 5000 block of Hilltop Drive, police said.
“The suspect approaches from behind and pulls the victims into the canyon,†Robinson said. He has threatened the victims either verbally or with a rock.
