UCLA Rallies to Upset Aztecs in Soccer, 3-1

SAN DIEGO — Nick Scavarna scored twice late in the second half Wednesday night to break a 1-1 tie and carry 15th-ranked UCLA to a 3-1 nonconference men’s soccer victory over 8th-ranked San Diego State in Aztec Bowl.
Eric Winalda scored 11 minutes into the match to give the Aztecs (15-5) a 1-0 lead. The Bruins tied the score in the 49th minute on a goal by Steve Black.
