Lakeside
An unidentified pedestrian was killed Saturday night when he was struck by two cars while walking along California 67, north of Santa Maria Avenue in Lakeside, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The San Diego County coroner’s office said the identity of the victim was unknown, and public assistance was requested. He was described as being white, in his late teens, 5-foot-5, 124 pounds, with short brown hair and a single wire brace on his upper teeth.
The CHP said the youth was walking in the northbound lane of the highway when he was struck by a northbound vehicle, then hit again by a southbound vehicle.
Neither driver was cited.
