StarTel’s 3rd-Quarter Net Falls 86% From Last Year
StarTel Corp., which posted losses for the first half of 1987, reported net income of $12,000 for the third quarter, an 86% drop from $83,000 a year earlier. Quarterly revenues declined slightly to $2.7 million from $2.9 million a year earlier.
For the first nine months, the Irvine-based telecommunications company lost $1.1 million, contrasted with a $235,000 net income in the same period last year. Revenues dropped 19% to $6.9 million in the period from $8.5 million in the same period last year.
