Local News in Brief : Holm Decision Held Up
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge said Friday that actress Joan Collins’ former husband, Peter Holm, will have to clear a contempt charge before a decision is made on whether to grant him a second chance to argue for $80,000 in monthly support payments.
“It seems to me I should do nothing until he (Holm) purges himself from contempt,†Judge Frances Rothschild told Holm’s lawyer, Frank Steinschriber.
Holm, 40, was held in contempt and a warrant was issued for his arrest on Oct. 7 after he failed to show up for a hearing at which arguments were to be heard on his request for $80,000 in temporary monthly spousal support from Collins.
Holm, calling the court from his home in France, claimed he could not appear because he was down with the flu.
