Santos Misses Practice but Should Start Saturday
SAN DIEGO — Todd Santos, San Diego State quarterback, did not practice Wednesday because of a slight middle back strain, trainer Don Kaverman said.
Kaverman said he expected that Santos would return to practice today and would be able to start Saturday against Hawaii in Honolulu.
Troy Reed, a senior fullback, sprained his knee Saturday against Cal State Long Beach and is questionable, Kaverman said. Michael Broome, a junior wide receiver who sustained a concussion against Long Beach, has been cleared to play, Kaverman said.
