Vista Knocked From Top Spot in Football Poll

SAN DIEGO — Point Loma High School has taken over the top spot in the The Times San Diego County high school football poll after previously top-ranked Vista was upset by Orange Glen Friday night.
Point Loma, ranked No. 3 last week, defeated Mira Mesa, 27-0, Friday for its seventh victory of the season without a loss. Vista (5-2) fell to No. 4 in this week’s rankings. Orange Glen (4-2-1) moved into the No. 10 spot.
Mount Miguel remained No. 2 this week after beating Santana. Morse, which beat Serra, moved to No. 3.
