Huntington Beach : Waterfront Project Is Topic of Meeting

The Waterfront Project--a proposed $385-million coastal spread of hotels, condominiums and shops--will be discussed at a meeting Oct. 28 of the Democratic Club of West Orange County.
In a bid to work together in solving potential traffic and environmental problems, a representative for the Newport Beach developer of the huge project and the leader of a community group encouraging control of growth will make presentations.
The meeting, which is free and open to the public, will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Progressive Savings & Loan, 19900 Beach Blvd., Huntington Beach. For more information, call (714) 536-6010.
