Pandas to Head South for Winter

TAMPA, Fla. — Two giant pandas now living in New York’s Bronx Zoo will be wintering in Florida, Tampa’s Busch Garden Zoo announced today.
Ling Ling, a 2-year-old male, and Yong Yong, a 5 1/2-year-old female, are expected to arrive by jet from New York in early November and will spend six months in multimillion-dollar quarters that are being readied for the rare giant pandas on loan from the Beijing Zoo in China.
