Former Illinois Gov. Daniel Walker was removed from the rolls of practicing lawyers in that state at his own request, Supreme Court officials said. Walker asked to be disbarred after pleading guilty in August to a three-count criminal complaint charging him with perjury and misapplication of bank funds in paying off hundreds of thousands of dollars in debts.
