Body of Bound Man Found Near Newhall

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the death of an unidentified man whose body was found, hands tied behind the back, near the Antelope Valley Freeway in Newhall.
The man, wearing only cutoff jeans, was found Tuesday about a quarter of a mile southeast of the freeway near Remsen Street, deputies said. A motorist spotted the body. A spokesman with the county coroner’s office said the man had not been identified.
