Field Named for Jackie Robinson

The Board of Directors has approved renaming Brookside Baseball Diamond No. 1 the Jackie Robinson Memorial Field.
Forty years ago, Robinson became the first black to play in the major leagues. The former Dodger is a Pasadena native and a member of baseball’s Hall of Fame.
