Federal Judge Appointed

WASHINGTON — President Reagan on Tuesday named Judge Robert Gawthrop III to the U.S. District Court for Eastern Pennsylvania. Gawthrop, 44, has been on the Court of Common Pleas in Chester County, Pa., since 1978.
