Typewriter Used for ‘Mein Kampf’ for Sale

MUNICH, West Germany — The ancient Remington on which Adolf Hitler typed portions of “Mein Kampf†in the mid-1920s is going up for auction in November with a suggested price tag of $30,000.
The Nazi dictator’s typewriter is due to be auctioned in Munich on Nov. 6, along with letters and documents provided by the family of his close friend, Emil Maurice, Munich’s Hermann Historica auctioneers said Wednesday.
A signed first edition of “Mein Kampf†is also up for auction with an estimated sale price of about $11,000.
