Goodman Paces UC San Diego to 4-0 Victory

Scott Goodman scored in the opening minutes of the second half Monday to break a scoreless tie and lead the UC San Diego soccer team to a 4-0 nonconference victory over Southern California College in Costa Mesa.

Craig Hyde, Rod Crambit and Craig Gross each scored for UCSD (2-0-1), which is ranked fifth in the nation among NCAA Division III schools. SCC is 1-4.
