BROKEN CELEBRITY RECORDS

I enjoyed reading Brown’s article, but I couldn’t find a mention of a record which I own: “Tony Randall--Vo, Vo, De Oh, Doe”--Mercury MG21108.
Tony sings some clinkers from the ‘20s and ‘30s (“Lucky Lindy,” “Byrd You’re the Bird of Them All,” and of course “Boo Hoo”) in his best off-key Carmen Lombardo style. It’s deliciously awful!
Perhaps I’m the only person who ever bought it, which makes me a person of rare taste. I’m sure Randall would agree with that. I’ll treasure that record, not break it.
