Worker Wounded in June Shooting Dies
A Huntington Park man allegedly shot by a co-worker in Glendale last June has died from complications stemming from his injuries, police reported.
Ramon Hernandez, 29, died Aug. 31 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank where he remained since the June 4 attack.
Police are seeking Victor Ortiz Corrales, 22, also of Huntington Park, who they suspect shot Hernandez three times before fleeing the Flower Street plastics company that employed the two men.
Police have issued a warrant for Corrales’ arrest on suspicion of murder.
Corrales and Hernandez worked together at the Catalina Plastics Co. and had apparently been arguing when the shooting occurred, police said.
