The Cincinnati Reds swapped right-handed pitcher Bill Gullickson for left-hander Dennis Rasmussen of the New York Yankees.
Rasmussen, 28, is expected to start Sunday against the Chicago Cubs. He is 9-7 this season with a 4.75 earned-run average in 26 games with the Yankees.
Gullickson, 28, is 10-11 with a 4.85 ERA in 27 games for Cincinnati.
