The man acts, races cars and markets salad dressing, popcorn and spaghetti sauce. Is it enough? No, because Paul Newman’s face will be popping up on grocery shelves soon on the label of still another product: “Newman’s Own Old-Fashioned Roadside Virgin Lemonade,” to be unpeeled for the media Thursday in New York and distributed nationwide next year. It will come in half-gallon containers and, as with the other Newman food products, profits will go to charity.
