Smith and Stoklos Win Beach Tournament

Sinjin Smith and Randy Stoklos won their 10th pro beach volleyball championship in 16 tournaments this summer by winning the $20,000 Maryland Open Sunday at Ocean City, Md.
Smith and Stoklos defeated Scott Ayakatubby and Tim Walmer, 15-5. Smith, of Santa Monica, and Stoklos, of Pacific Palisades, each won $3,200. Ayakatubby, Hermosa Beach, and Walmer, Manhattan Beach, won $1,600 apiece.
The team of Dane Selznick and Dan Vrebalovich was third, winning $1,200 each. Roger Clark and Wally Goodrick took fourth place.
The pro series travels to South Hampton Beach, on Long Island, New York, next weekend.
