Gang Member Guilty in 3 Deaths

from United Press International

A gang member was convicted today of shooting to death three teen-age party-goers in 1984 in what police have called the single bloodiest incident of gang violence in Los Angeles.

Keith (Ace Capone) Fudge, 20, was found guilty by a Superior Court jury of three counts of first-degree murder. Fudge is also charged with murdering two other teen-agers at the same party, but jurors have not yet reached verdicts on those counts. Fudge has been tried on the charges twice. A mistrial was declared at his first trial last April when jurors deadlocked 11 to 1 in favor of convicting him.
