Gas Leak Prompts Evacuation of Condos

Residents of eight condominiums in Rancho Bernardo were evacuated for a short time Sunday night when a leak was discovered in a 2-inch gas line.
The evacuation occurred in the 12700 block of Paseo Lucido, near Bernardo Heights Parkway, the San Diego Fire Department said.
The gas line was repaired about 8:30 p.m. and the residents were allowed to return, a department spokesman said.
