Perhaps Shultz would be delighted by the following scenario. We get Gen. Richard Secord and his fee-splitters to back a series of cowboy romances, directed by Poindexter and starring, of course, Ollie North, the new Jack Armstrong, All-American Boy. Think what they could do with “North by North,” “North Star,” “Riders of the Purple Daze,” maybe even “Kooky, Fran and Ollie” or how about “The Shoot-Out at Tehran Corral”?
This could lead to big bucks for everyone, the governorship of California and maybe even the presidency of the United States. North’s act was great, but with proper management and our love for a pretty face, he’s just beginning!
