The last of the six Solano County Jail escapees was back behind bars after Oakland police picked him up for jaywalking. Wesley Johnson, who is awaiting trial on weapons and stolen-property charges, was arrested after a records check revealed that he had escaped from the jail in Fairfield a week earlier. Four of the other escapees were picked up earlier in San Francisco and Vacaville, while the fifth surrendered a few hours after the escape. The breakout was the largest in Solano County history.
