Gunmen Grab $40,000 in Jewelry From Store
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies had no new clues Sunday to the four men who robbed an Agoura Hills jewelry store at gunpoint and took an estimated $40,000 worth of rings.
The robbery occurred about 11 a.m. Saturday at Mimo Jewelers, in the 5600 block of Kanan Road, Sheriff’s Sgt. Dean Winters said. While two men waited outside, two others, in their mid-20s, entered the store, Winters said.
One climbed over the counter, grabbed a woman employee and held a revolver to her head, Winters said, while the other locked the owner in a bathroom.
The robbers drove off in a new, white, four-door Honda without license plates, Winters said.
