In response to Carl B. Marer’s opinion (Viewers’ Views, June 21) concerning “Saturday Night’s Main Event” permanently replacing “Saturday Night Live” because “wrestling has better ratings and better actors,” this was a low and unfair blow to “SNL.” I am only one of the many people who think the over-dramatized stomping and shouting of overweight, make-believe “wrestlers” is a disgrace to NBC and should be eliminated completely instead of replacing a funny, well-liked show!
