Samsung Buys Office Building in La Mirada

Samsung Pacific International Corp. has purchased a 22,000-square-foot, two-story office building in La Mirada Gateway Center for more than $3.5 million from Gateway Center Associates of Irvine.
The Korean firm will move its corporate headquarters from 600 Wilshire Blvd. and will occupy 16,900 square feet, with the balance leased to Gateway Medical Center.
With this purchase and the start of construction of two new restaurants, the La Mirada Redevelopment Agency’s $80-million, 20-acre mixed-use center is nearing completion.
