Only one Dodger championship in 22 years is a disgrace to the 3 million-plus LA fans who crank turnstiles like no others and ask only for beach balls and seven innings of decent baseball in return. I can remember the good old Garvey-Cey-Lopes days when a father could take his Little Leaguers to Chavez Ravine to show them how pros play. Now, I keep the kids home and show them the Three Stooges three times free on TV--which equals the nine stooges one has to pay to see at Dodger Stadium.
