CAIRO — France resumed delivery of Mirage 2000 jet fighters to Egypt on Thursday after a three-month suspension over payment delays, Defense Minister Abdel-Halim Abu Ghazala said.
Abu Ghazala, quoted by the Middle East News Agency, said the first of eight aircraft had arrived at an air force base.
In April, France held back the last eight of 20 Mirage 2000s ordered from Avions Marcel Dassault-Breguet Aviation in 1983.
