Police Car Hits School Bus
From Associated Press
A squad car chasing car thieves this afternoon slammed into a school bus at a San Fernando Valley intersection, critically injuring two policemen, officials said.
None of the children on the Los Angeles Unified School District bus was injured, said Gil Espinoza of the city Fire Department. It was not immediately known how many youngsters were on the bus or where the bus was headed, he said. The patrol car hit the bus at Paxton Street and Dronfield Avenue in the Lake View Terrace area.
