Garza Draws Unbeaten Opponent in Semifinal

Former World Boxing Council super bantamweight champion Jaime Garza (46-2, 42 knockouts) will meet Georgie Navarro (15-0, eight knockouts) of Vineland, N.J., Tuesday in a 10-round semifinal bout of a $100,000 featherweight tournament at the Forum.

Garza’s tournament record includes a unanimous 10-round decision over Dwight Pratchett in April and a split-decision victory over Baby Joe Ruelaz in another 10-rounder in May.
