Steve Rosenberg, an analyst with the Carmel-based entertainment industry research and consulting firm Paul Kagan and Associates, says he was misquoted in the Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) News/Sun-Sentinel, a United Press International dispatch and, as a result, a June 9 Morning Report item about a new pay-per-view cable-TV movie service in South Florida. Such services schedule specific movies for broadcast at specific times of day. Viewing a pay-per-view film, Rosenberg explains, is not then simply a matter of “you pay, and it shows up in your house,” as was reported earlier.
