Baldwin Park police requested help from sheriff’s homicide detectives in their investigation of the death of a young woman whose body was found on the grounds of an elementary school. School district security personnel found the victim--believed to be in her late teens or early 20s--on the west side of a school in the 1300 block of Le Borgne Avenue, lying between a cinder-block incinerator wall and a chain-link fence.
