The leader of the God Unlimited Campus of Healing in Campo was sentenced Thursday to 42 years in state prison for molesting a 10-year-old boy.
Herbert Beierle, 60, was also fined $7,000 by San Diego Superior Court Judge Napoleon Jones Jr.
Still maintaining his innocence, Beierle told the judge that only God, the boy and he know that he did not commit any sexual acts with the child.
Beierle faces another trial Monday on charges that he molested two other boys in the religious group, in which nudity is practiced at the compound, 1101 Far Valley Road.
Beierle was convicted March 11 of eight counts.
