CRONYN, TANDY DUE IN ‘FOXFIRE’ ON TV
Hume Cronyn, Jessica Tandy and John Denver are the stars of “Foxfire,†being shot on location in North Carolina for presentation on the “Hallmark Hall of Fame.â€
Cronyn and Tandy re-create their roles from the stage play that brought Tandy one of her three Tony Awards. Denver plays their son, Dillard.
The teleplay, set in the Blue Ridge Mountains, was written by Susan Cooper, based on a play she wrote with Cronyn that ran on Broadway in 1982-83.
