Joan Rivers kept a diary while hosting Fox Broadcasting’s “The Late Show,†and at least two offers have been made for her saga, her publicist said Wednesday. Rivers’ diary reportedly includes Fox’s early wooing through owner Rupert Murdoch and Fox chief Barry Diller while she was the exclusive substitute host for Johnny Carson on NBC-TV’s “The Tonight Show.†Rivers was removed last month as permanent host of “The Late Show†after its ratings floundered. Monday, Rivers and Fox reached a settlement agreement on her three-year contract, reported to be worth at least $10 million.
