A doctor responsible for drug tests on workers involved in railroad and airplane accidents pleaded guilty in Oklahoma City to giving federal officials false test results in three train accidents. The charges allege that Delbert J. Lacefield, 52, could not have provided correct results on blood plasma tests as he did not have the equipment to conduct the tests. Although Lacefield supervised test results on the Conrail-Amtrak accident Jan. 4 outside Baltimore in which 16 people died, that accident did not trigger the investigation of Lacefield, a spokeswoman for the Federal Railroad Administration said.
