Aerojet Ordnance Wins $41.2-Million Contract
Aerojet Ordnance Co. in Tustin said it has won a $41.2-million Air Force contract to produce 5.2 million rounds of 30-millimeter ammunition for the Air Force A-10 close-air support aircraft. The work, which represents 60% of the U.S. Defense Department’s total procurement of 30-millimeter ammunition this fiscal year, will be done over the next 18 months at the company’s Downey and Chino facilities.
