The science-fiction blockbuster “Aliens†received eight Saturn awards Sunday at the 14th Annual Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films presentation. “Aliens†won top honors for best science-fiction film, actress, supporting actor, supporting actress, juvenile performer, direction, writing and special effects. “The Fly†snared three Saturns, including best actor, horror film and make-up. Accepting the bulk of awards for “Aliens†were the film’s director--James Cameron--and producer, Gale Anne Hurd. The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films was founded in 1972 to recognize achievement in those sometimes neglected areas.
