Chris Mann, Vic Topper and Rob Mandel, members of the Westlake High football team, have announced their college plans, Coach George Contreras said this week.

Mann, who set a school record last season with 37 receptions and 602 yards, will attend Harvard.

Topper, a defensive back and punter who had four interceptions and averaged 36.5 yards per punt, will attend UC Santa Barbara.

Mandel, a fullback who led team in scoring with 13 touchdowns and 78 points, will attend Sonoma State.

A story that appeared in the May 8 edition of The Times’ Valley Sports Section, which listed youth gymnastics programs, failed to include the following:

The Valley Gymnastics Training Center (all girls), 3050 Rosslyn St., Burbank, 818-243-3374.

The Junior Elite Training Center (primarily girls), 6708 Variel Ave., Canoga Park, 818-716-5382.

Roman Calczynski of Sepulveda heads into today’s NASCAR Southwest Tour Coors 100 in Stockton with a 39-point lead in the season standings over Mike Chase of Bakersfield.

Chase captured last week’s Budweiser President’s Cup 100 in San Bernardino, barely holding off a last-lap charge by Calczynski, who finished second. Calczynski has 794 points through five races; Chase has 755.
