The 14-room Oak Park, Ill., house and studio where architect Frank Lloyd Wright raised a family and launched his pioneer style of clean lines that complement the environment was unveiled over the weekend after a 12-year, $2.1-million renovation. In its unfurnished state--the trappings of domestic life have yet to be installed--the house where Wright lived and worked for 20 years provides an uncluttered glimpse at the seeds of what later became known as the prairie style of American architecture.
