BIA Honors Man Who Rescued Trapped Driver
Spencer Ford, a construction superintendent with the Lusk Co., has been honored by the Building Industry Assn. of San Diego County for helping save the life of a woman trapped inside her partially submerged car.
The car, had been forced off the road and into Lake Guajome, near Oceanside, following an accident.
Ford led a team of men in extricating the victim and then applied lifesaving measures to help her regain her breathing.
