More than 30 Sonoma County officials face possible fines and removal from office for not filing required conflict-of-interest statements, according to a published report. The San Francisco Chronicle said records show 50 of about 2,000 county workers and elected or appointed county officials missed an April 1 deadline for filing 1987 “statements of economic interest.” Eleven people filed late.
