UCLA, USC in NCAA Women’s Tennis Meet

Four California teams, including USC and UCLA, have earned berths in the NCAA women’s tennis tournament, starting next Thursday at UCLA’s L.A. Tennis Center.
The Bruins, seeded No. 5, will play No. 12 Kentucky, and No. 13 USC will meet defending champion Stanford. UCLA finished the regular season with a 21-6 record; USC was 14-12.
Other first-round matches: Top-seeded Florida vs. No. 16 Harvard; No. 8 Indiana vs. No. 9 Northwestern; No. 3 California vs. No. 14 Oklahoma State; No. 6 BYU vs. No. 11 SMU; No. 7 Trinity vs. No. 10 Texas, and No. 2 Miami (Fla.) vs. No. 15 Georgia.
