Jackie Robinson, Hero

I did so enjoy Gary Libman’s piece on Jackie Robinson. My favorite was about the correspondence/relationship that the boy from the Midwest had with Robinson. It was a beautiful and very touching piece. I was obviously not alone in this assessment, as some friends called who mentioned they, too, had read the piece and were very moved by it. This is journalism at its best.
