Police late Sunday arrested a suspect in the slaying of one man and the wounding of another in Southeast San Diego, police reported.
Charles Wayne Johnson, 20, is being held without bail at County Jail on suspicion of murder in the death of Glen Isaac Davis, 37, of Southeast San Diego. He is also charged with attempted murder.
Davis was found about 10:15 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of South Ozark Street with gunshots to his head and stomach. Neighbors had alerted police to an argument and gunshots. He was transported to Mercy Hospital, where he died about 40 minutes later.
The other man, who was identified only as Robert Moore, was treated at Paradise Valley Hospital. Details on where the men were when they were shot were unavailable.
