The U.S. Postal Service promises to stamp an April 15 postmark on mail deposited at the following post offices before midnight Wednesday.
- Post offices open until midnight to weigh mail, certify mail, sell postage and collect mail from motorists driving by:
Anaheim--Main post office, 701 N. Loara St., at North Street.
Newport Beach--Main post office, 1101 Camelback St., north of Bison Drive.
Santa Ana--North Grand post office, 2201 N. Grand Ave., just south of Santa Clara Avenue. (Those driving must approach the post office from the south because traffic officers will not permit left turns into the post office parking lot.)
Santa Ana--General mail facility, 3101 W. Sunflower Ave., between Harbor Boulevard and Fairview Avenue. (Drivers are urged to approach from Fairview, because left turns onto Susan Street, the street beside the post office, will be difficult. For that evening only, Susan Street will be a one-way street running north from Fairview.)
- Post offices that will be closed but will postmark mail deposited through indoor mail slots by midnight:
Anaheim--All post offices.
Huntington Beach--Main post office, 6771 Warner Ave., between Edwards and Golden West streets.
Laguna Niguel--Main post office, 29911 Niguel Road, at Pacific Island Drive.
Orange--Main post office, 1075 N. Tustin Ave., between Collins and Katella avenues.
