An early morning fire Monday caused $50,000 in damage to an unoccupied restaurant in Yorba Linda and also damaged an adjacent bar, authorities said.
The cause of the 4:15 a.m. fire in Paul’s Country Kitchen, 1267 E. Imperial Highway, is under investigation, said Patti Range, a county Fire Department spokeswoman.
It took 20 firefighters 20 minutes to put the fire out, Range said. No injuries were reported.
Damage to the structure was estimated at $35,000, and damage to its contents was put at $15,000, she said. No estimate was available on damage to the bar.
The restaurant is located in a six-unit business complex that has a shared attic, according to Range.
